Responsibilities

  • Lead the team and be responsible for hiring and retaining best talents
  • Ensure your teams performance, growth and motivation
  • Enforce coding standards and best practices
  • Own individual parts of the systems and take technical decisions
  • Design and develop new features and maintain existing web applications
  • Work with PHP using the latest tools and technologies
  • Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
  • Write clean and testable code, apply effective code review practices
  • Bring initiatives and proven solutions
  • Conduct one-to-one meetings with team members, and care for the welfare of your people

Desired skills & experience

  • Proven previous Team Leading experience
  • 4+ years experience in Web Development
  • Extensive knowledge of PHP/MySQL
  • Solid OOP knowledge, experience with PHP frameworks (preferably Symfony/Laravel)
  • Working knowledge with Git versioning system
  • Experience with API integrations
  • Experience in setting a Local & Staging/Production environments
  • Experience working in a team of developers on complex, sophisticated projects
  • Good people skills, with empathy in the front line
  • Ability to communicate effectively, mentor and guide others
  • English skills

Preferred

  • PHPUnit testing, REST API, SQL and any ORM
  • Experience on: GitLab, Jenkins, Nginx, TDD, RabbitMQ, Redis
  • Experience with containerised applications, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Work by Agile principles and Scrum framework
